Residential Leadership Programs
What is RLP?
Residential Leadership Programs is comprised of three organizations: Residence Hall Association (RHA) , National Residence Hall Honorary (NRHH), and Regional Councils.
Together, each organization strives to improve the lives of on-campus residents by building a diverse and inclusive community in our residential buildings! Residential Leadership Programs provides an avenue for advocating for residential needs and addressing concerns, planning fun events for the residential community, and developing various leadership skills that enhance personal growth and career skill development.
What We Do
The purpose of RLP is to improve the residential experience of each resident through advocating for their voices, providing opportunities for leadership development and personal growth, and building a community in which all of the residents can feel at home.
Regional Council
Each residential building on campus is a part of a Regional Council that plans events for residents and sends representatives to represent the interests of their residents to RHA and NRHH. Councils advocate for the needs of their residents, organize social engagements, and promote leadership opportunities.
Our Funding
Residential Leadership Programs receive funding from a small designated portion of Housing costs per resident - so our funding comes directly from residents, to use for residents. We use those funds for events, projects, conference attendance, program sponsorship, and more!
