Conferences
RLP takes students to three conferences each year, all expenses paid for by RHA and NRHH funds.
The Intermountain Affiliate
Nestled along the Rocky Mountains of the western United States, the Intermountain Affiliate of College and University Residence Halls (IACURH) is proud to be one of eight regions of the National Association of College and University Residence Halls (NACURH). Established in 1961 the Intermountain Affiliate proudly serves Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah, and Wyoming!
The IACURH Residential Leadership Conference (RLC) happens every Fall Semester. It is usually hosted at a University within the Mountain West region. RLC is a great opportunity to meet other students from the region, network, socialize, and develop leadership and career skills! RHA and NRHH cover all conference expenses, and the opportunity is open to all residents to apply to be in the delegation each year (the group of students who attend the conference). IACURH also hosts the Regional Business Conference, or RBC, in the Spring semester which is specifically for RHA and NRHH Presidents and the RHA National Communications Coordinator (NCC). The NCC is also the cabinet member responsible for planning and organizing the conference delegation for attending each conference. Learn how to get involved by contacting the NCC at HDS_rha_ncc@mail.colostate.edu or visiting the IACURH website.
NACURH

NACURH stands for the National Association of College and University Residence Halls. The operating structure of NACURH is comprised of eight regional affiliates and one corporate office. Each region is responsible for all schools in their respective area. The office, known as the NACURH Corporate Office (NCO), handles various association-wide responsibilities.
The NACURH annual conference happens around the end of May, after the Spring semester has ended. Similar to the Regional Leadership Conference, all residents are invited to apply to be in the delegation to attend the conference and all expenses are paid for by RHA and NRHH. NACURH provides the opportunity to meet, socialize with, and learn from peers across all of the regions in the United States and Canada! Learn how to get involved by reaching out to the NCC at hds_rha_ncc@mail.colostate.edu or visiting the NACURH website!
Retreats
Each semester, RHA and NRHH host a leadership retreat for all Regional Council members. Retreats are on-campus, and cover a variety of different skill-building topics for personal growth and to enhance the success and impact of the Regional Councils. Often, food is provided, and sometimes we pair it with an off-campus excursion!
